@valotron Shoes have nothing to do with minimalism. Especially Vibrams bullshit. Asics is trying to sell to the minimalist hype.  Looks like one of the better, more functional lightweight trainers I've seen put out since this fad got going.

I have the rush 33 in green. 9 miler out the box felt okay. Def not minimalist. I really just got them because I thought they looked cool.

@123repeater There are more and less minimal shoes. Vibrams def. allow more natural feet movement than any Asics shoe ever will. If this is a lightweight racer - then call it that. 10mm. heel to toe drop doesnt even allow proper minimalist running form as you can see from the video. Overstriding with these would kill my knees. Luckily there are alot of better (truly minimal) options out there - New Balance, Inov-8, Merrel etc.
