What is The Atheist Experience?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

    Religion flies us into buildings.

  • @blattt188 How did you get that dumb conclusion from your short excerpt of bullshit?

  • It's nice when I hear some of these arguments because it partly shows on a philosophical and theological level how incorrect the assertions are. The Devil doesn't "thwart" God's plans, God uses Satan for His purposes. Where is this idea that God's will isn't carried out? It's only falsely asserted, not shown in any way. On top of that God is infinite, therefore any finite thing (like a created thing) is infinitely less powerful than God.

  • @kqcrazii Beautiful statement...

  • @blattt188 That would be like saying that Islam always leads to suicide bombers

  • @blattt188 Atheism does not always lead to amorality that's ridiculous to say that people who think for themselves would not think about if something is wrong or right. A lot of atheist read the bible and see contradictions in it as in saying do not kill and later on saying stone your child to death if he is unruly. Atheist read this and most if not all think that it is immoral to kill someone even if they are being unruly. Therefore Atheism doesn't lead to immorality all the time.

  • @Aviatorsmith "The brainwashed sheep are the people appealing to popularity" I could not agree more. Well put. As Jesus said: don't even be part of the system.

  • @Aviatorsmith One objective truth that atheists deny that religious people rarely deny is the cause-effect principle that leads ultimately to natural belief a sovereign awareness; A God. Actually, atheism will lead to the ultimate conclusion that there is no objective truth, and all is relative to the perception of the beholder. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what every atheist I know believes & also what I was taught in college. Without God the world is a holographic illusion.

  • @supermonkey5294 I don't say an atheist world would be more evil than a religious one. On contrary: atheists are more reasonable & discerning than most religious ppl I know. If you actually read the ministry of Jesus as well as the rest of the bible, you see that religion is the worst in God's eyes. My point is, atheism in itself leads to amorality & always has. The contrast: religious ppl are compelled by doctrines so they wear their evils on their sleeves. Atheists don't.

  • @blattt188 if atheist further moral anarchy the tell me why there is more crime in countries where religious people are the majority. And less crime in Countries where Atheism or agnosticism is the majority. How does that make sense? You know since religious people are all so good.
