This was a really fun video to make, although I had trouble with how dark or light I wanted the video, in the end I believe I achieved the perfect balance between the two, as in HIM's music.
After spending time on this video, I sensed a story playing out. A story that I did not notice was there before. To me, the video paired with the song seems to show a story of a young man losing his dear love. It shows his misery at the end when losing her. His knowledge that he knows she will die and his attempts, though he knows they will not much work to stop him from losing her, since she means so much to him. The video shows a man's tragedy; his love and passion for this woman is only a prelude to tragedy. In the end, his bitter attempts to stop from what he knows is the inevitable is only marked by tragedy and death.
