This is a bit about artemisia absinthum, more commonly known as wormwood. It is the primary ingredient in absinthe which some have expressed curiosity about.
Wiki- "Absinthe is traditionally a distilled, highly alcoholic (45%-75% ABV) beverage. It is an anise-flavored spirit derived from herbs, including the flowers and leaves of the herb Artemisia absinthium, also called wormwood." I don't believe the work of any brilliant artist should be attributed to any drug. And why would you assume I'm familiar with its effects when I clearly state above that the absinthe I had contained no hallucinogenic agent? It was little better than licorice liquour!
Absinthe! I once bought some in Germany (when I was 18!) and brought it back to share with my VT homies. I didn't know at the time that there was no wormwood in it, and none of us tripped, but getting everyone tipsy off of smuggled liquor was still fun!
: ) sorry. I didn't want mention your name and potentially be seen as "milking you for subscribers" or what ever the fuck that taboo is. People are so damn touchy about all that shit here. I like to follow rules of etiquette until I find a good reason not to, like the rule is stupid or somebody's being an asshole.
Speaking of which, there is nothing in Absinthe that is hallucinogenic. The thujone from the wormwood is a convulsant.

Perno I believe originally contained wormwood,
I believe Van Gough work can be attributed to the consuming of it, it's there look in his work assuming you've been familiar with it's effects.
