These modern day kit cars, from most companies, are better than the "real" cars in every way accept they are not "real". They are new, perform better, and are made from higher quality material. Lighter+faster+newer+less expensive=better, hands down. Anything else is a complete waste. BTW, the Factory Five is sold for about a quarter what the Superformance car is sold for.

The real CSX-2601 got $7,250,000.00 at the Mecum auction this summer... This is a Superformance, which is sold as a complete replica minus motor and transmission for about $90,000.00. A Factory Five Racing replica is sold unassembled for about half that and is truer to the real cars. The Superformance has a lot of modern tweeks to make it more of a daily driver... The FFR is more brutal... like mine! (search 'Jack Lawrence Daytona' on YouTube)
