  • That sure will melt the lights.

Looks like a review of truck company operations is in order.

  • Looks like a little sizeup and driver training might be inorder

  • @TheLaidlaw11 As an officer of this company at the time... the cheif was in contact with the bucket and the guys were ingulfed in the flames! he raised the outriggers an inch from the ground and it did let him move the truck. I am not by any means saying that the truck was not too close, because they were....

  • Just my personal opinion good job to the ff that moved the truck dangerous? yes.....but for those ff on the ladder it could have been fatal the fire progressed to fast for second guessing yourself for only a moment

  • Our older e-one unit had exterior sprinklers mounted on the Engine for when the Engine becomes an exposure.

I guess they figured they don't need to install them on ladder units as they don't get that close to the fire : 0 (let the battle begin !!)

  • @floor41

Manual Overriding can be done on any Aerial Unit, if you dont know how, contact your MFG of your rig for a demonstration, although it will be a challenge it is not advised unless your competent.

  • Its a 95 ft 2003 mid mount tower ladder by E one

  • It is about to melt. Back up !

  • im from perrycounty too
