Chestnut Winged Cuckoo feeding on a large Privet Hawk Moth caterpillar. With only bill and tongue watch how the bird squeezed out part of the entrails from the caterpillar body, clinically checked no more unpalatable gut contents/faeces remaining before swallowed head first the whole caterpillar. What a meal.
Note: The caterpillar has been id as Privet Hawk Moth(Psilogramma menephron) and the text updated accordingly
well done :-)
