Blimey - breakdancing moves back in the 30's & 40's - there's nothing new under the sun. Notice how most the the dance scenes are one long continuos take - no room for error.

That was the Eleanor Powell, she was a actress and dancer between the 1930s and 1940s. There is an IMDB and Wikipedia page about her. The woman was so good she made Fred Astaire sweat to keep up.
