quick ? bro i live in nj and we have to have the car inspected im sure same as ny...do if i get an h pipe with flowmaster catback will i pass emissions..

@onefast5oh ...it has the factory exhaust as off now..but I want an h pipe with flows..I thought the h/x pipe replaces the cats?..I'm going to get car inspected in about 30 mins. So I want my exhaust asap.

@greekooo3 If it has cats then it will pass the visual safety inspection if they do one. If it has high flow cats, it may set off the service engine light in which it would fail emissions. You would need MIL eliminators or a custom tune where there can shut off the rear O2 sensors.

why would you trade this exhaust for a magnaflow. magnaflow is quieter

@mnurse18 I don't know about quieter. The magnaflows really open up when you get on it. There is less interior noise which is what I was looking for. I love the way the magnaflows sound on these cobras and I like Flowmaster. The best sound is a Flowmaster American Thunder kit on a fox body.
