I think you are strong as she was. My Grandmother was awesome as well. That video made me cry. But she's always there even if you can't see her. You have taken chances with your life and that takes alot of strength.

That was a beautiful story, thaumata. Your grandmother sounds like an admirable lady. The way she handled herself reminds me of my mother before she died of cancer. Always trying to see the bright side and protecting everyone else first.
You know the reason why you still miss her even though your brain should know that she's gone? You miss her with your heart. And in your heart, she'll never be gone.

Watched many of your videos today...this one was the last...I could barely make it to the end, so sad.
Gramma Dot sounded like a wonderful person. It's easly to see how much she meant to you. She would be very proud of you...and, don't stop talking to her.
This was beautiful, Thaumata. Thank you for sharing your memories of a great woman.
I lost my dad a couple of years ago, and he had similar medical experiences, eventually losing his ability to move on his own. He really went through it, and it was hard to watch.
I still have a voice mail from when he could still barely talk, but I can't stand to listen to it.

Man, I would give anything to have a voicemail from Gram still. I'd probably listen to it all the time. Hanging in there until the end is hard, but I have never been sorry for it. Much love to you.

You've inspired me to plan to do videos about my grandparents, the ones I knew. Though, my stories are not necessarily as close of a bond, or the fact that there were interruptions in creating those bonds, I want to make a video or two anyway. :) thanks for sharing about your grandma Dotty!

You've already you're stronger than me. I couldn't be there at the end for the people I loved that sufferred that God awful disease. I sure as hell couldn't have sung at their funerals either.
Still love your vlogs.

Man... it was absolutely the hardest thing I ever did, but you know, I knew I could do it because she wanted me to, and I did. And since then, I have known that I can do anything. You have to take the good with the bad in most situations. Remember that.
