We seek nothing more nor less than fairness for all of New Hampshires families. We thank our legislature for working to protect jobs, strengthen our economy, and protect our civil rights.

Now Governor Lynch has an opportunity to protect all New Hampshire families and treat every committed couple equally.

New Hampshire is no longer the red dot on the New England map of blue. I moved from NH to CA for college, and I've been working with EqualityCalifornia to try and overturn Proposition 8 here. I couldn't believe the good news when I read about the wave of support for NH Legislation to move towards equality for same-sex couples. I have great hope for my home state.

psbrowns - no, you should have stopped at "the right to marry is already equal"... because it is. I can have a gay marriage in ANY state in the USA... and someday I will - just like other gays have been doing for 100's of years.

What we are fighting for is the right to be taxed the same as you and the right to keep our children... the rights to be treated under the LAW just like every other citizen.

The RIGHT to marry is already equal. What is wanted is the right to marry based on love. I can't marry many whom I love. Why not just respect and tolerate the difference like I've been doing?
