@JayPleezer304 Sir
I don't know if you recieved a reply from Ms. CINCHUM but here is my 2 cents. As you may know Mr. Oyama(founder of Kyokushin) trained under Mr. Yamaguchi Sensei of Goju Ryu. So some of the kata found in Kyokushin such as Sanchin Kata are from Goju Ryu. Goju Ryu is very good Naha Te style of Karate. I do not know which dojo you are speaking of or the Sensei but Goju Ryu is a sold style. Good luck to you. Osu

@cinchum Ma'am
Thank you for your reply. If I may ask did you go with Mr. Oyama Shihan when he formed Oyama world Karate? And is there any way you would write a book about women of Kyokushin/Martial Arts of the 1960s and 1970s? I think the world (I know I would) love to hear your story. Osu

@cinchum I assume ur at least 3rd degree...? I want to train in kyokushin like u wouldn't believe...all we have is goju ryu, but im a little (apologetically) skeptical of the training regimen and their standards of black belt promotion. What do i do? Please help me.

Nice! I wanna be living dummy for womens karateka!
I'm the girl with the black pigtails. haha... This was taken around 1974. Mercy Garcia, Paula Oyama are also in this film. Sure was fun training back then. Always lots of women to train with!
