So here is an opinion of mine, most of these people seem to me to be suffering from a psychosis, a mental aberration where they cannot , will not accept any other viewpoint and need to hate some minority or group or other religion to feel they are in control of life. History shows in a civilised society this never prevails and fairness and equality always triumphs.

But when some think such myths give them the right to force others into a certain way of life or deprive a minority of equality, that is not acceptable and must be fought vigorously. Fundamentalist right wing religious faith / belief is just opinion, not backed by any logic or scientific evidence.

On our side. Facts, scientific research, logic, fairness. On their side, self delusion, misplaced faith, bigoted opinion, lies, scare mongering, innuendo, falsehoods fear and thinly disguised hate. I'm sure that 90% of the good people of the UK will see the campaign by the bigots for what it is, pure hate for people who are different and who challenge their world view. I don't care what people believe, you can think the moon is made of blue cheese if you like.

Whoops, LGBT of course, sorry there. We clearly see things differently and I'm not surprised by that, but I am sorry about it. I don't want to offend you for the sake of offending you, I really mean that. I believe that you were created for a relationship of pure love with the source of love which is God in Jesus his son. You are loved beyond all understanding by God, and nothing you do will ever change that! God is Love; we were made for love. I will pray for you.

Look mate, I don't think this really "tramples on the obvious truth". There are always going to be straight people, and there are always going to be gay people. Rest assured, people will not stop having sex and babies and all that just because gay people aren't discriminated against. It's not like we're going around in a massive pink carnival float shouting "hop on the bender bus, dahlings!". We're just asking that those on the bender bus are treated equally.
