Precision Power PPI 356CS components

Since i blew my old crap components in the front of my civic i decided to pick up a lil something. These components are listed at 499.99 but i picked em up for 139.99 and all i can say is wow. They are simply amazing. The crossover has a couple different adjustable settings unlike my old ones.

Do these speakers sound okay without an external amp? I'm running an alpine 9886 HU and might get an amp in the future, but not right away. Will these provide an upgrade over stock speakers even w/o an amp?

Ya they will defenently give u an improvement over stock especially in my car. I had 15 watt paper made in mexico speakers lol. One of the best component systems for the price

Prob on ebay, I see Sonicelectronix has them for $135 shipped, but I also notice millonbuy on ebay has them for $119 shipped.

I got a Sundown Audio 125.2 for power, either going to get another 125.2 and bi amp the set, or buy (2) comps and just run them off the Sundown.

Ah ok well i have a pair and 4 fosgate power 6x9s running off a kicker zx650.4 and they sound real good. I would imagine with a sundown amp tho they will sound amazing

@jitjoseph i go to a site called millionbuyDOTcom and it has some pretty good prices actually cheaper than the sonic. the ones i want (kicker ds650.2) and the site you go to was out of stock the price was higher. you should check it out and see how much those were. could have over paid.

Oh alright, cause on a forum somebody told me since the PPI's are low sensitivity, they require more power to sound good. As long as they're better than stock I can live with it for a while.

Did you had an apileptic attack when recording this? Just get 4-5 second static shot, move camera, another one, move to another position again... Got it? Not that reckless recording...
