Does anyone know what the regs are with getting the colors and guidon wet in the ocean? I would think the salt water would rust the metal. It seems like a huge no-no for some reason

How about credit to the other branches of service? its always Marines first, nothing could be further from the truth, how about the Aleutian Islands, N Africa, the European theater, The Flying Tigers, it wasn't Marines, most people don't even know about the Aleutian Island conflict, you are taught to believe what you are told and not the facts, MARINES ARE NOT ALWAYS FIRST, FACT.
