  • How rare is that? To be able to play a late Beethoven sonata like that - AND to play Liszt and Ravel the way he played them later in the competition? This is one to watch, I think.

  • Haochen, your artistry is a revelation!

  • Wow! Impeccably well rounded, authentic, and talented virtuoso

  • One of my piano classmates played this. I love this Sonata

  • His teacher is Gary Graffman of the Curtis Institute of Music.

  • i just saw him live. shoke his hand, got an autograph, and talked to him in chinese

  • His tone is beautiful and his interpretation is very musical... It's amazing how young he is but could play so musically... !

  • Haha, he's coming to Portland next year. Guess who's got the tickets to that concert? :P

  • I hear music when he plays......forget about the other Cliburn contestant. His musical maturity is without a doubt equal to pianist double his age. He doesn't use technique to impress but to service music. That is a real musician.

  • Gary Graffman from Philadelphia's Curtist Institute of Music. He came to the US in 2005 to study piano there.

  • i can ' t stop say "wow" he are really good , anybody know who is he 's teather?
