2001 Buell Blast w/ Vance & Hines Exhaust

My '01 Blast. This thing really rips! the sound quality when it is being reved does the bike no justice...Oh yeah...and it's louder than my brother's Fatboy with Screamin' Eagle pipes!

haha yeah no shit! sawzall666 is right. I think i can pedal a bike faster than the blast. It's just fun. dont knock it. I got rid of my blast a got the 09 XB12Ss. PS...I test rode a BMW K1200S before I got my Lightning. Needless to say...I got the lightning. Still love the thumper tho!

did you re jet the carburator ? I did with that same exhaust and I got 26HP out of it.I could get it up to 96mph(max) with 2 people on it.

actually i did not with mine because it was a temporary bike and i didnt want to spend my time buying extra parts. I believe you on the 26 hp boost...that little can is pretty amazing by itself.

@JBCPES603 they state it as bhp which is brake horse power i think and it is measured at the flywheel not the rear wheel so there is a drop in what you actually have to play with.

@wrestlr1483 A good rule of thumb is to expect ~20% of any engine's horsepower to be lost going from the engine to the wheels on a stock vehicle. This, as far as I know, applies to both two- & four-wheeled vehicles. We can thank emissions law that the percentage is so high.
