  • Thanks a lot, Gabokoost by the corrections, or contributions, for although, by my father family, I am from Entre Douro-Minho, and I lived there two years, I just asked the people who were dancing from where they were: Guimarães... Surely the dresses are from Minho in general, and what I intended, although not in the best way, to say is that the group was from Guimarães...

  • This is not a "Vira". This is a "Cana Verde dos Galos". Despite also being from Minho, this theme is also not from Guimarães but from the sub region of Arcos de Valdevez. The dresses of this group represent all Minho but is not faithful to any specific sub region.
