２０日午後１時２０分ごろ、北京発の全日空９５６便ボーイング７６７（乗客乗員１９３­人）が、成田空港への着陸時に大きく揺れ、着地の際の衝撃で胴体の一部を損傷した。乗­客乗員にけがはなかった。着陸後に機体を点検していた整備士が損傷を発見。両主翼前方­の胴体側面が波打つように変形していた。
