I teach online via Skype, so if you are interested in bass (or guitar) lessons, check out my website at http://keithgroover.com for rates, openings, bio, special deals, etc. Thanks!

Here's how to play One Line Wonder by the Avett Brothers. Download the tab here:

http://keithgroover.com/onelinewonder.pdf

I used this . . .

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1_wYq72m4s

. . . as reference.

It cuts off at the end because my battery died about five seconds before I finished.

Hope you like it and I hope it's helpful.

  • thanks very much

Can I ask what guitar you are using

  • Sure! It's a Hofner HA-GA, the Grand Auditorium. I've had it for about three months, and I really like it.

  • is it a steel string...it sounds great

  • Thanks, and yes, it is a steel string.

  • wou;d you be able to tab this on ultimate guitar, then i can get it on my ipod and learn this shit

  • Good lesson--one thing though, it's played at concert pitch on mignonette. They may do it a half step low live, but you should maybe mention that its in standard on the record.

  • Very nice. great lesson. Thanks for the tab. If you have the time could you post a lesson on swept away (sentimental version). I need to learn this for my girl.

  • That's great. Thanks man.

  • dude, thanks for this. you rock. you nailed it, and are so clear and patient in your instruction. thanks for the written tab, too. long live avett!
