@msiluvPARAMORE I listen to the same exact music and people always call me creepy, weird, emo, suicidal, dark, always depressed, and other things. Just because I am listening to the type of music I do doesn't mean I'm going to be any of those things. The rap and other crap was pointless and only talked about drugs, sex, and money. Other rock artists talk about real things. Things that may have happened in our lives and the music is inspirational... Not full of crap.

@BVBsoldierJosh It's from a longggggg time ago. From some interview in 2005 when the album was released. And I've heard her testimony a lot. But the song is talking about her relationship with her mother and forgiving her for all the bad stuff and saying she's sorry for being the type of person she was.

@mychemxhelena Where did you hear that? I've never heard that her mother beat her, but I've heard what I've said from her. In a lot of her testimonies.. Never once has she said her mom beat her. Atleast never that I've heard of. (Sorry, not trying to be rude lol) :)

@BVBsoldierJosh She's actually talking about how she used to be beat by her mother. Which is why it says 'I close my eyes and brace myself' and the more her mother beat her and hated her it 'built her shell'

The song is her forgiveness towards her mother when at the end she screams 'i'm done healing'.

"Im only ten years old" She's talking about why she stopped believing in God at 10. Her 3 year old cousin(who was "like a brother" to her) was beaten to death by his stepfather when Lacey when 10. She talks about it every once in a while. Watch her testimony at Winnipeg before she sings
