i dont think i will. short of wiping my computer clean, or getting a new one. its old as fuck and asking it to capture external video and record narration simultaneously is the human equivalent of asking your nan to unicycle a lap of the M25 balancing an elehant on her head. my point is, it aint gonna happen

Huh, how much RAM does your computer have? Apparently 1GB's the minimum for video processing, which is why I need to upgrade my computer before I can start doing Lets Plays myself. I'm not really sure what else to tell you. There are various videos about Easycap issues on youtube, I think I have one in my favourites section.

mate, youre basically a fucking star!!! i've check out that vid. i think ive got the video ok, but my computer sufferes slowdown because im recording the video and the narration at the same time. like i said its nearly 5yrs old

thats true enough. lilredbutton has figured it out (from no clues). but obv itll be a few days before i get to sort anything out... might even need a new PC to continue (seriously tho 5 years, its long overdue)
