The start of this trail is at the rose valley campground through the gate at the back. A 4x4 is needed to get to the parking spot where we started. we had a truck at the bottom of gridley trail and one at the top to do shuttle runs.

This is sick. Is the place where you started where horn canyon trail meets Nordoff Ridge fire road? I go to Thacher and horn canyon starts on campus. I was thinking it would be a sick ride if i could go up horn canyon, down this, and then down gridley.
