My father worked with Gamini in the 90's and saw first hand the work that he did for the country, most notably the irrigation and hydro power projects. A completely different caliber of politician compared to the self-serving ones we have today.

Navin Dissanayake betrayed his own party, the UNP, to join Mahinda. If his father was alive today, he would be so ashamed of his son's move. What a great leader Gamini was...and what a great loss to Sri Lanka
