Fab explains the basics of the Sonnox Oxford Reverb Plugin and gives tips on how to use the plugin.

Quick Overview:

The Sonnox Oxford Reverb plug-in is a highly flexible stereo reverberation generator, designed to complement existing Sonnox Oxford applications in providing the user with the highest technical and sonic performance coupled with artistic and creative facility. As well as providing stunning presets, the user has full control over all of its many parameters, including a very comprehensive early reflections section, and integrated 5-band EQ. The Sonnox Oxford Reverb allows the powerful facility to create virtual spaces freely, depending on artistic need, ranging from dry reflection ambiences, room and hall simulations, sound effects, all the way to wide open reverberant spaces with a very large range of possible texture and spatial character.

  • i have a problem with sonnox reverb: the waveforms are not shown in the early reflections and in the reverb tail "viewing window"! please someone help me cos this vst looks good but with this problem its nearly unuseable! i have win7 and i am using ableton!

  • awsome

  • I love this software, very inovative stuff.

  • HAHAHAHA very funny how he says "completely" at 2:42 :D

Wow, I wouldn't have thought the Scarlett was as nice as the Epicverb but if it works.

I'd like the Scarlett myself but they won't release them in the UK as they are just the 'Focusrite plugin Suite' only with nice, shiny new GUI's,so they wouldn't sell to good, new GUI or not.

I personally think the EQ and Compressor are nice from that pack, quite versatile.

  • @imperialpod I already have Epicverb, but I'm using Focusrite's Scarlett. I like the sound of it better, and it's not as cpu intensive.

Believe me, you REALLY don't need multiple reverbs on 1 source.

Do yourself a BIG favour and grab 'Epicverb' and you'll see why. Its free but its in league with the sonnox.

  • Multiple reverbs for on source. Hmm, I never thought of trying that. Been trying to get that kind of reverb sound on vocals for like forever, but I haven't been able to nail it down.
