Please Stop Horse Slaughter

Filmed in Montana February 16 and 17, 2009 All of the horses are my own, including 2 rescues. (one Mustang and one rescued from a feedlot about to go to slaughter) Please rate and comment! Watch, think about it and hug your horses.

i love this video it makes a point unlike all of the others iv seen and the sence you get when they run and look so happy and what makes it better is that the horses are comfortable around you because there your own i mean my family owns 4 horses cupid(4th leader)dantea(3rd leader)forever(bows mare) bow (herd leader i think we should all apprecitate horses they deserve it becasue of the awsome history they have im definatly with you on stopping horse slaughter and pain

i would love to go to the slaughter house and slaughter everyone that works there then set the horses free in a nice meadow with no rules and no abuse

I want a horse! my mom doesn't know JUST how many horses are slaughtered a day, a YEAR! If she could buy me or just take one from a feedlot er somthing I would SAVE a horse! I want one :(

It's amazing how horses, even after being put through all the pain and suffering, can learn to trust again with the right hands. Great video.

@horsecrazy8900 Exactly. Slaughter house in quebec, had NO inspectors for 3 yrs on killfloor. Now, they were ordered to break their own rules.WHY, cause the inspectors didn,t want to go in shooting area, which i find bullshit, but, who investagated there for those 3 yrs? No one, i guess. How discusting can gouverments get? We must all unite and Ban all hell-holes.They are blood thirsty savages and don,t give a shit about animals. period. Don,t be fooled with promises.Its never true, never was.!

It's politics, not polotics. That is also not who you'd be referring to, it'd be the government. That isn't exactly who is at fault either, I mentioned it before. It's between country versus city. City folks love their horses to much for anything to happen to them, they aren't seen as livestock anymore which is how the country folks still see them. Also, you can't say anything until you've been and seen it with your own eyes. Not through PETA's eyes (I hate PETA, fyi)

@BLiSSFULxFiLLY you know this is a stupid figtht. i dont know about you but this whole fight leads up to polotics. its the polotics fault that slaughter houses arent investigated for suspicious activity of abuse. and when they are the slaughter house gives the investigator a ton of money and say dont investigate heres money. the investigator then leaves with money and NOT investigating any suspicous activity and writes a good report from there on horses are still abused at that slaughter plant.

Which is exactly why it's gone down the toilet. It's city folk versus country folk. There is no money any more within this industry because the prices in which actually determined many simple riding horses were actually slaughter houses, sadly enough. Now they are gone, you have decent riding horses going for 300 or less. Trust me, I love horses but this is an industry, people making a living off of this. Think about that.

Did you even read a word that I said? I did not say you'd think it'd be better for them to go out and starve in the field. The water is not in question, more then likely they'll have water out there. However, no you don't know what has happened. Prices of horses have bottomed out. That is why there are TONS of unwanted horses right now and there is so much more that I can't fit on here. You do not understand the business side of this industry.
