Our New Born Baby - Layna Jeslyn Harris

LORD thank you for a healthy beautiful baby and safe delivery for my wife. August represents the number 8 which is new beginnings and the number 7 is completion. For my God is bringing new beginnings in our household and every blessing will be complete.

Our baby girl, Layna Jeslyn Harris was born on Monday August 7th, 2006 at 9:51am. She is 7 Ibs & 3 oz. She has my wife's beautiful deep brown eyes and her beauty shines so clear. Our oldest daugther LaNise (16) and LaNere (13), has been a tremendous help throughout the pregnancy. Kids I love you so dearly.

To Doctors Shawn Davies, Michael Colgroves, your comforting words through out our Doctor's visit were very comforting and thank your for an outstanding team work during our delivery, Doctor Sara Verghese, thank you for welcoming our new baby, and to the nurses, & receptionists of Rush University Medical Center of Chicago, IL; the hospitality we've received was indeed pleasant & heartfelt!

To the C.N.A insurance family, thank you for your generosity and the surprise baby shower, we were so blessed by the wonderful gifts and cards.

To Pastor Gregory & Grace Dickow & The Life Changers International Church Family, thank you for your prayers, congrats and gifts.

To our Pastors, Apostle E. James & Pastor Deborah Logan & Christian Faith Fellowship Church family, thank you so much for the beautiful flowers received.

To David & Laura Knoerr thank you for the video editing, I could not have done it without you both.

To my mother (Shirely Conner - I honor you for giving me life), my sister (Letrice Thomas - you're always so helpful) and my mother-in-law (Ms Dupart -a heart of pure love), thank you so much for your support at the hospital and your constant love shown to our family. To Chaplain Matthew, thank you so much for your prayers. Linda Sanders, thank you for your generosity toward our family. To family and friends thank you so much for your calls and visits.

To my wife of 18 years, you have indeed remain beautiful as ever and thank you for loving me.

you have beautiful kids. my daughter alice was born with vadar symdrome she had 12 surgeries before her 1st b-day and still has three more to go. she will be three in october this year and is now expecting a baby brother in june. they have already told me that he will be healthy. God has given us one miracle already and now we get to have another. congrats on yours.

This is a beautiful and priceless moment. I want to commend you my brother on loving your daughter and being there for her.
