Re: sitting vs. standing. Part of the ambiance of electronic rock concerts, starting all the way back with Tangerine Dream in the 70's was exactly this type of performance. Few guys sitting around their equipment, minimum contact with the audience--sometimes not even an introduction--and some really great music. Vanderson goes a step further here, with a nice lightshow, fireworks, screens.

I don't see why it matters if he sits or stands. He's there to play music, not dance around in a costume. ...some video projections would be pretty cool though :)

I just dont get it .. having him standing would make his music better.. if yes, in what way?
maybe he should wave to the audience during his performance?

This guy could deliver a superior musical experience if he were lying flat on his back. He has the musical gifts and technical experience to deliver his own sound. But then that's just the opinion of an "arrogant" American.

regardless of wheather he was sitting or bloody standing, its amazing and moving stuff, though u make a good point...i just hope its a crowd that could see through all the comercial electronica and listen to somethin a bit more downbeat and experimental.....would of been an awsome event, and fireworks to top it all off as well.....nice..!!

sitting down at a live show/gig shows there aint no emotional contact between music and player...the guys got the gig.make the most of it.the guys just sitting there.if you dont feel what you play how on earth do you expect others to.

he should be standing up!!! no one sits down during live elctronica!!!!!! except the piano player, and there is none! it looks horrible if you sit, you can't groove as well. even if you are enjoying yourself it doesn't show as well.
aweomse music though, i really like it.

you don't have a clou, my dear JaanO... all the pioneers of this music-style sit when playing (Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Ashra, etc.) - just the techno- and dj-style people are jumping around...
