This is a Poem by Anne Bradstreet, one of the first great women writers. I have taken her poem, and animated it into a visual presentation. Enjoy!

  • I think Anne would have loved this =) great job!

  • I loved the simplicity of the animation. Puritans were real live people who had normal feelings and emotions. Anne Bradstreet shows how her deep faith and trust in God proved stronger than her attachment to temporal possessions. The beauty of the poem lies in the way she expresses these emotions whilst rising above them so she can continue her life in contentment despite her changed circumstances. I think the animations are wonderfully matched to these feelings.
