When I was on my search for an outdoor GPS device I was looking for some showcases of the Oregon 300 but it was difficult to find something which covered all I wanted to find out. As I bought the Garmin Oregon 300 device now, I created my own kind of tutorial for others who are in the situation I was or just want to learn about the Oregon 300 (quite similar to 200/400). It became a quite long 3-part-video, so I hope you'll not be bored ;)
Here is an overview of the functions I explain and show (as far as you can show up something while sitting at home) so you can jump to the part you are interested in:
PART 1:
0:00 General Menu Navigation
0:49 Map
3:16 Compass
4:14 Trip Computer
5:19 Where To?
7:08 Mark Waypoint
8:32 Elevation Plot
-------------------
PART 2:
0:00 Track Manager
1:19 Waypoint Manager
2:15 Route Planner
3:46 Active Route
4:19 Image Viewer
5:21 Stopwatch etc.
7:31 Profiles
8:42 Sight 'N Go
-------------------
PART 3:
0:00 Sun And Moon
0:59 Setup

Notice: I just bought the device 4 days ago, so I'm not an expert at all concerning GPS and my device but although I hope that the video is useful for anybody and I did not tell you something too wrong... I did NOT cover ALL functions which are available but those I consider are the most useful ones. Further: Excuse my bad and stucky English ;)
very useful, thanx!
