  • back end wants to go down on the side where the bigger wheel well is in the truck?

  • @09JrSmith Yep, drivers side. Sounds like you have it happen also?

  • Get a manual transmission?

  • @Ismaak5 Then I would have to find an engine to match it and hook up in this car.

  • For the transmission hole if you were really lazy couldn't you JB weld it:P?

  • @w1ldyovvnz Too big of a hole for that.

  • the filler tube on rad brakes off power steering pump i had the wagon version in a no weld class

  • hey i know how to put in reverse on this car

  • well since ive been running derbys i became good friends with some of the officials. these guys put on 50 plus derbys a year. and one of the good tips they gave me. is most guys up here will wrap two rolls of duct tape on each of the cv axles. they may break but they wont pop out. never tried it myself but seen alot of guys doing it to their cars.

  • Same thing happened with my 89 taurus, couldn't find any gears if I remember correctly when it said neutral on the dash it was actually reverse. I had to stop going into gear by what the dash said and just go by feel

  • @DemolitionMissions they always do that right their what i did to mine was dimpled it right behind it an made a little cut on my lumina i wedge an prebent it up seems to work so much better not going down at all yet

  • @laweez14 what do you mean they don't use them? They do use them... where did u get the idea they don't? Even tractors use them... Even high performance cars use manual gearboxes, e.x. Porsche still uses manual gearboxes, semi automatic gearboxes are preferred just cause they are faster to shift cause they take the drivers sluggishness out of the equation.

On a derby automatic transmissions seem to be to much of a problem as I see it! Leaks, heat, electronics. Too many can go wrong.
