  • It's so funny how commenters talk about "modernity" and "the West" influencing India when they don't even realise that homosexuality and transgenderism has been totally accepted in India for thousands of years before British colonialists came there! In fact it's Western colonialist powers that have spread HOMOPHOBIA to India and other countries! Learn some history kiddos and don't talk about things you don't know :)

  • good for them! looks like fun! I am pro life! pro love pro co existence!

  • @megamarsvin Please read my previous reply to you as well, the one with Sonia Sotomayor.

The type of conservatism you are seeing in EU, over here in NA would qualify only under the LIBERTARIAN banner, something btwn a liberal and a conservative, over here, USA & CDA, TRUE conservatives, ppl and politicians, are pro-traditional marriage, pro-life, anti-marijuana laws, anti-prostitution, pro-military/war, pro-Israel, anti-global warming laws, anti-universal healthcare, lower taxes.

  • @megamarsvin Please watch this video:

Sonia Sotomayor is now one of the 9 US Supreme Court judges, she was nominated by Obama in 2009 or 2010.

Go to wikipedia and same-sex marriage in USA and click on Massachusetts and see how s-s marriage was legalized in that state as well. Again, in CDA s-s marriage was legalized by provincial courts, wikipedia will show you that, and over here, USA & CDA, judges are appointed by the leaders of the country not by the ppl.

  • @401RoadWarrior Here it was absolutely a democratic decision. Even the conservative parties didn't oppose it on the principle I explained above: you should be free to be and do what you please as long as it doesn't hurt others. Your sexual preference doesn't make you any better or worse than anyone else, again as long as it's consensual and it doesn't involve some kind of abuse.

There's no way a judge can single-handedly rewrite the law here, I'm amazed that happens in Canada.

  • @401RoadWarrior boy, im glad i live in toronto. we can say gay marriage and it'll be fine. okay, fine to make you happy.. homosexual marriage is legal under a CONSERVATIVE government.

what dumb argument are you going to have for me next? lol, none. your argument is invalid.

    PEACE BITCH

  • @TDOTEMPIRE "gay marriage"

I was talking about HOMOSEXUAL marriage, again: H-O-M-O-S-E-X-U-A-L, ok? Personally I have no idea what "gay" marriage really is.

    Adios.

  • @401RoadWarrior bro its 2012. give me recent data. and last time I checked, gay marriage is legal under a CONSERVATIVE government. and yeah, because im pretty sure the media is SO accurate with their claims and facts. give me scholar references idiot.

thats MS. ryerson to you. in justice studies. and pro-peace.

  • @megamarsvin Social dictatorship, anywhere in the world: when UNELECTED judges, Massachusetts another example, become law makers and ORDER (or DICTATE) to the Parliament and/or ordinary ppl how a particular social law, marriage law in this case, should look like. I'm a strong proponent of a DEMOCRATIC VOTE on pretty much everything regardless of how much some ppl would be hurt by the outcome of that vote, that's called DEMOCRACY.

How homosexual marriage was legalized in Holland?

  • @401RoadWarrior Ok this has turned into a discussion about Canadian politics. I'll admit I don't know enough to argue this point properly, maybe Canada is a dictatorship I don't know.

Back to the real issue: I don't want government laws telling me what I can wear or how I can act as long as I'm not actually hurting other people (and no you being offended is not the same as hurting people.)

Freedom does not mean "I should be free and everyone else should do as I tell them."

  • @TDOTEMPIRE 2003 polls of canadians asking LIBERAL Jean Chretien for a NATIONAL REFERENDUM, go to your Ryerson liberal libraries and get the Toronto Star or Sun or Globe & Mail newspapers of that time, and refresh your memory, Mr Ryerson Social Justice Anti-War liberal, all right?

That was all on TV, Mr Liberal, including the emergency meeting over the weekend with Jean Chretien and his liberal caucus simply fighting with his more conservative members to oppose the referendum.

  • @401RoadWarrior 75% canadians were against gay marriage? where are you getting your stats fool
