  • I Think Thomas does great work spreading awareness about the dangers of current economic dogmas and the available alternatives.

However, I think he's being simplistic here: it's not simply a matter of whether or not child labour is right or wrong.

We are all aware of the horrifying conditions faced by many children in sweatshops. I'd like to know how the free market would improve conditions.

Seems the kinda guy who'd be happy to talk about it - I'll try emailing him.

  • What's there to laugh about when Woods said the children either went into prostitution or they starved when they tried to introduce labor laws in Bangladesh which prohibited children to work?

  • The part about no one protesting poverty until the world had become productive enough that some people ahd time to think that it might be something that could be done away with reminded me of my time in the navy. We used to say "A bitching sailor is a happy sailor."

  • Lawmen can print money, but they can't creat wealth, if people understood this, there would be no socialist
