Step 1 : "Complete First The Sub Quest No.9 Cactuar Quest"

Step 2 : "Complete The Mark Hunt Gilgamesh, The Mystery Man"

Step 3 : "Now Go To Balfonheim And Head To
The Area With The Aerodome, Talk To The Fishing Enthusiast (Old Man) Twice Then Run To
Anywhere Without Changing The Area (Just Go Somewhere On That Place) Then Go Back To
Where You Meet Fishing Enthusiasts And
Guess What? He's Gone And You'll Notice
On The Wall A Muramata Rod, Take This
And Head To South Bank Village On Dalmasca"

Step 4 : "In South Bank Village, Talk To Ruksel
And He'll Ask You For The Muramata Rod, Give
This To Him To Begin Fishing"

Step 5 : "At This Point You Can Only Play
On Downstream Area, Choose This One And
Keep Catching Fishes And You Can Also
Obtain An Empty Bottle And A Colored Bottle
So I Recommended You To Complete Mark Hunt Gilgamesh, The Mystery Man First And Begin
This Quest (You Can't Catch A Colored Bottle
If You Don't Finished Him), Now Try Several
Times To Play And Catch The 5 Colored Bottle
As The Following (See Below)"

Step 3 : "Now After Obtaining The Messages, Go
To Barheim Passage And When You Reach The
End Of The Zeviah Span, Go Ahead Into West
Annex And U-Turn To The Small Part Area
There You Will Meet Gilagamesh will come
out of nowhere and hand you the "MATAMUNE"
which he probably confused while trying to find the Masamune or something. Of course, the stick
can double up as a new fishing rod, which if
you bring back to Ruksel, he can use to fish in
the last two areas.

I need help.. i already have the fishing rod and everything and i can fish.. i know how to play and anything but for some reason, when i press certain buttons (like square at the beginning of a streak) i automatically loose. Anyone help?

In order to get the colored bottles, you HAVE to give Ruskel the Maramuta Rod, Beat the Cactuar quest/Patient quest and BEAT Gilgamesh 1st and 2nd time. Now here is where people get stuck. Not getting any colored bottles even after you've completed the requirements? REMEMBER to talk to MONT at the CLAN HALL in order to fully complete the Gilgamesh MARK HUNT, that's where most people get suck because they forget to talk to MONT after they've defeated Gilgamesh.

Ah this is very informal and I did not know that I had to beat Gilgamesh fully, I only got his gloves and shield if you know what I mean, but i'l hold him off until i get stronger ^_^
