Crammed into makeshift shacks, two million women, men and children live in slums and informal settlements in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. They survive with little or no access to running water, toilets, hospitals or schools and without police protection. And they face the constant threat of forced eviction. 131.000 Amnesty activists signed a petition to Kenyas President, Mwai Kibaki, to stop forced evictions in Kibera.
