perhaps this tool maybe usfull in removing smoke damage from glossy paint.

if one was to use this on paint then whipe wiht a terry cloth towel, would and damage be the result?

yes. repainting is neccissacry for moderatly damaged gloss painted and flat painted walls. this is probly the best method for med damg paperd wall.

i was thinking more about the use of that tool on a dirty gloss painted wall. whould this melt of the paint? how is the structure ventalated to remove all that water? is drying equipment required?
