A movie about a boy, a girl and a computer. A classic 80's comedy with some awesome 80's music from Culture Club, P.P. Arnold, Heaven 17, Jeff Lynne, Giorgio Moroder, Philip Oakley and Helen Terry.
Q. Do you remember what the computer called himself ?
Sorry it's not DVD quality but the movie was never released on DVD, only VHS.

You rock for putting this video up!! This holds such great memories for me:) I think it does for anyone in their mid-late 30's, or as I call the "HBO" generation.

I Love this movie so much. It came out in 1984, to me THE year of the 80's. It's cheesy, has some bad dialogue and plot but more then makes up for those flaws with heartfelt feeling, a likeable cast, great location and a soundtrack that fits it perfectly. Oh, and lets not forget, a happy ending. I was having a bad day today and came to You Tube to cheer me up and give me some hope. Watching Electric Dreams worked wonders. That is the power of movies. Thanks for sharing.

Haven't seen this movie in ages. Saw it in the theater when it first came out. (yes...I'm old LOL) Its so 80's. I was a big ELO fan and Jeff Lynne did the soundtrack.

Its amazing how much they had the computer do since a heavy duty calculator these days has more computer power than the desktop computers in 1984.

I hope this comes to Bluray one day.. I have the DVD version atleast, had it for years.... Love the movies in the 80's. If they made this today it would be filled with special effects and crappy acting with no story whatsoever. 80's had story, it had soul, it had life, how do we go back ?
