this is a bad video if your trying to find a swing to model because it the home run derby. they dont use their regular swing during this. find swings from in game those will be better

@NoahsHittingVideos Yep

@LoveThatGirl21695 The point is you can't think about rotating your torso fully and having a rotational upper half properly without having your legs follow. Vice versa is not true. You can do whatever the fuck you want with your legs, but that doesn't mean your upper body will do shit. If you do the right things with your torso, your legs will be in the proper place. Not the other way around.

@muma0449 only ESPN can flag it lol retard

@Highflyerone what we have at 0:04 is not really arm extension because his right arm is bent about 90. his left arm is as extended as it began in his load. the extension we need to take from this is his wrist extension. to get the best homerun contact he begins his wrist roll but makes contact with his right hand under the bat.

freeze at 0:04 when he makes contact, great shot, hips turned towards the pitcher, arm extension, completely attacking the baseball....great video!

@ThevHellRaiser and that's why i got laid bout two days ago by my gf,

If u guys play baseball and if u make these perfect swings the coaches say ur doing everything wrong....... they video taped me and said i was doing it wrong for swinging like the pros......lol but oh well

Sadego GG hey dumbass. Try swinging with just your upper torso as fast as you can with no lower body, no load on your hips, nothing. Then try using your legs and dragging your hands through the zone. If youre good, which you probably arent, the ball will go further using your legs. They are the strongest muscles in your body if you dont know simple kinesiology

you don't have permission from espn to copy this from the homerun derby, flagging it
Nice analysis. I believe that left hip/core rotation triggers rotation though. The left leg responds to the left hip/core rotation.
If you want a high speed video of his swing please check out my other videos. I captured some nice video of Albert, Matt Holiday and Colby at a Rockies game in 2009.
