What's it like being a gay teenager in high school? This week's intimate documentary provides a rare glimpse into the lives of three gay kids. We follow Adam, Richard and Adina as they weave their way in and out of school, braving harassment and rejection as they come to terms with their sexuality. Eventually, they find refuge in a special education programme for gays where they can continue their schooling without risk of abuse. Compelling and insightful, 'Class Queers' is an empowering film about daring to be different.

as a gay dude that came out in 1993 before these brainwashing fascist stunts were pulled on the rest of the world and out of pity, tolerated... the best way to to avoid "homophobia" after i came out was when I was 13 in a 7-12 grade school, got called a faggot and broke a senior's jaw, punched out numerous windows and even started swinging at cops when they showed up... I took judo and was and am proud to be manly and I have no problem with femmes but they hate me but just fuck them up...

I wanna create a school for homosexuals. Don't give me crap about gays getting special treatment. They wouldn't have to get special treatment if all y'all just get along. I mean really. A gay man walking down the street ain't gonna kill you. If you do meet hostile homosexuals its probably because by the time you get to them, others have already jaded them. It doesn't excuse behavior but neither is beating gays and killing lesbians and all that. Okay.

It's interesting how when he talks about his first experiences being gay and not fitting in in school, he doesn't talk about being attracted to boys. What dose the way you walk/ hold your hand really have to do with being attracted to males and not females? And we all know that there are a whole host of behaviors common to homosexuals. Sexual attraction is really the least of it. Homosexuality seems to be less of a genetic phenotype and more of a social archetype. NOT saying that's a bad thing.
