At 53, I finally realize why this artist has the legions of fans he has. What a talented individual and what a generator of fun for an audience. To see him live must have been so much fun.

It's amazing listening to music and realising where huge artists have drawn their inspiration from. I believe the Beatle are the best band ever to have graced the planet but they have obviously borrowed heavily from Chuck Berry, Little Richard and the like and then made their own sound. I wonder whose Little Richard's inspiration was?

Has been one of my favourites for more than forty years.
A couple of years ago, I enjoyed him live in concert in Germany.
