my ring was 800 if i remember correctly and at the time, things were hard, I was pregnant, he had just gotten a career job, living with parents. Now we are in a much better place but I would never want a "better" ring. The one I have has meaning. It shows where we started from :)

I agree! In May of 2010 my fiancee at the time brought me a 500 dollar ring. We had a private wedding in our church & a week later went to Vegas!!! Now since then have graduated college, brought a two story house and are still happily married not givin a f*** what ppl say!!! And guess what... I still wear my 500 dollar ring BOO! Focus on what's important n life!!!
