Norman Rockwell Museum will present a special screening of "Will Eisner: Portrait of a Sequential Artist" on Saturday, May 17, at 2 p.m. The film profiles the life of artist Will Eisher, one of the greatest innovators in the history of comic books, whose work is featured in the Museum's current exhition "LitGraphic: The World of the Graphic Novel" (on view through May 26, 2008).
Following the screening, filmmakers Andrew D. Cooke and Jon B. Cooke will be present to discuss their critically-acclaimed film and answer questions from the audience. Also planned, an appearance by Eisner collaborator and underground comix creator/publisher Denis Kitchen.
The screening is free with regular Museum admission.
