@camozar100 You can be a brainwashed posterboy and act like your on xanax your entire life.. or you can be real and realize a book like Ecclesiastes points out why Christ would ask that God's will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.. He asks in the prayer, because God's will is not done on earth. This isn't God's world.. So many things that make this world is not/ will never be God, and when we simply become knowing of it, we see it's meaninglessness. Ecclesiastes is a window to truth.

the more you understand, the more pain you experience. The more you know, the more imperfection you see around you; and the more you observe, the more evil becomes evident. As you set out with Solomon to find the meaning of life, you must be ready to feel more, think more, question more, hurt more, and do more. Are you ready to pay the price for wisdom

At first blush some may think that Koheleth is a nihilist but when one reads the whole book he or she finds that this is not true. Verse 12:13 makes it clear.

This particular video doesn't deal with the Biblical book Ecclesiastes specifically. However, the speaker does give a talk on the human experience and unsatisfactoriness or emptiness that Ecclesiastes does primarily tackle. Perhaps because the video is short and not the entire lecture.
