  • Well played, but what happened to the collision detection when you touched the fireball at 1:55?

  • @ForViewingOnly My guess is that it had something to do with 3 sprites being together in that small area.

  • is this an emulator ? & if so what & where can I find it ? thanks

  • @wingnut4427 No. This is not emulated. It is footage taken directly from a TI-99/4A computer, using an original copy of the game.

  • @PlayingWithHistory Are there only 4 levels? I remember playing this as a little kid and could never get past level 4.

  • @Met666 Yeah, four unique levels.

  • Nice that it has all the levels. Shame you never get to see the Donkey Kong falling from the girders animation though. It's like you never actually rescue Pauline

  • Finding games for the t1-99/4a was non existent, especially all those games/clones they promised when you bought the system (the book that came in)

  • @talshiarr The atari 2600 version wasnt that bad, but it had too few levels which honestly speaking all of the Donkey Kong versions had..

  • @PlayingWithHistory

    Boards by level:

    1 = Red, Blue

    2 = Red, Elevators, Blue

    3 = Red, Pie Factory, Elevators, Blue

    4 = Red, Pie Factory, Red, Elevators, Blue

    5 and thereafter = Red, Pie Factory, Red, Elevators, Red, Blue

  • Wow now this takes me back as a kid during 1984. I remember playing this game back then as a kid. Donkey Kong was on the TI system before Nintendo made it famous. this is such a classic game system and game. Need to ask my dad where the heck he put it so I Can put it out and play it. such classic thanks man

  • @wingnut4427 Are you still searching for a TI-99 emulator (+ the game ROM) that plays Donkey Kong? If so, let me know because I have all the information you need. If you want the info, reply via my Youtube inbox so I can write the entire/real links (can't do it here/in comment boxes). Also, just to let you know, the TI99 emulator/Donkey Kong, work great!
