Written by Bill Giant, Bernie Baum, and Florence Kaye. Elvis recorded it in October 1963 at RCAs Nashville studios for the 1964 film Kissin Cousins. It is available on Burning Love and Hits from His Movies, Vol. 2, and the Kissin Cousins/Clambake/Stay Away, Joe soundtrack compilation, which is where this version is from.

sorry Jackiej61too but earlier said this song reminded me of Danny boy I got it wrong the 1st and 2nd verse reminded me of the theme music from Jimmy stewart great movie" Shenandoah" but this is amust for me at my local Karaoke keep up the good work
