I don't regret one bit the spankings I received as a child. They were few, far between and well deserved. I'm a better man for being disciplined as a child. So many people want to be their child's "friend" that they don't know how to even be parents. When I worked as a cop, and later in juvenile probation department I saw a lot of kids that wouldn't of been in the system if they had been spanked...

Love your kids enough to discipline them! Just NEVER in anger.

I really MISS TV programs, and family structures like this. My mother and father both grew up in a world like this, and so did me and my sister, and NEITHER OF US SUFFERED FOR US. Scenes like this remind me of how much we're losing in this world, and it still shows us hope on how much we can still gain. Thank you so MUCH to whomever posted this clip.
