  • What is the date of this talk?

The date is very important information to include with your videos, otherwise they float free without a firm temporal anchor.

  • @bapyou So true, thanks! This talk was recorded on Nov. 1, 2008, in the Alice Statler Auditorium. It was part of a conference that inaugurated Cornell Library's hip hop collection. I've updated the video description to include the date.

  • @CornellUniversity Thank you.

And thank you for not getting angry. I often find interesting talks on You Tube for which the uploader hasn't included the date and, when I ask them to include the date, they get offended.

I've just discovered Professor Neal today. This video was very elightening.

    Anyway, thank you.

  • the affirmation of Hip Hop...is a plethora insight of America's greatest plight..racism.

  • deep very deep thank you
