@NoMooreMercy It can infact be played on the iPod Touch 2G as the requirements have been met and does not require the new retina display. The only problem is that because Mojang has encoded into the game and not just into the metadata that it requires iOS 4.3 it will take some hacking to go in and rewrite that code.

THANK GOD this is only the alpha!!!!! As time goes on, it might feel more like Minecraft. What I REALLY dislike about the game, is that you already have EVERYTHING, so it isn't rewarding or challenging. Its all about finding resources, right??

i have an ipod touch 2nd generation and it is updated to 4.2.1 but when i try to install this game it claims i need iOS 4.3. but my itunes says im up to date...help?

@ThatsSoGiorgio I'm not sure that this game can be played on an iPod Touch 2nd generation, you're gonna need a new iPod man. Sorry dude.
