Originally from Langholm on the borders of Scotland, David Gunn now lives in London and is inspired by Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, tea and history books. His music has been described as "compellingly mature grass roots folk, tinged with yokel blues," and "at times gentle tickling folk music, iron and wine style, and at others bonny, eye-brows liftingly moving".
