Andy suffers from Chronic Progressive Neuro-Behcet's Disease, a rare incurable and highly variable disease. For some, it only affects small parts of their bodies and with medication they can live a relatively normal life. Andy was not so lucky,his form of the disease is a highly aggressive, progressive form that has taken over not only his body, but his life. This film was created for a benefit for Andy and his family on December 17, 2009.

My son is 30 yrs old and he also is fighting for his life. He`s had nero behcet`s for 2.5 years . He`s been in and out of the hospital several times. Been treated with IV steriods and chemo drugs. The brain stem lesions keep coming back and further damage him. I hope we can stabalize him.

I too have Behcet's I am in a flare right now and the Chronic fatigue is so debilitating. No one get's it it's like depression, until you have it yourself you just assume people are a bit sad, until you have had chronic fatigue you think it's laziness. This is what I am fighting today it's always a different story, I feel like this is a messy disease

Hang in there! I hope there will be found a cure soon, or at least what is causing behcet.
